FUNCTIONAL Conditioning


Unlike traditional conditioning that is outer focused, we work from the inside out--- shoulder and hip joints, the small muscles of the spine, the core. We build the inner scaffolding as priority. The practices include strengthening, loosening and restorative postures, balance practices and improving range of motion. The focus of the class is functional conditioning-- making easier the stuff of everyday life, whether it is projects, picking up your child, being more comfortable at your desk or in your car, neutralizing the effects of using our devices so much, gardening, sports, healing from an injury or surgery, and generally being more resilient and more confident in our own bodies.

We utilize an eclectic approach that fuses the best of yoga and conditioning elements without being a traditional yoga class but does include some poses.

This class is hosted by ADITI YOGA so that means you sign up through their website and pay them directly. A class pass is probably the best deal but you are welcome to do drop ins.
